# Key Bill Actions in Illinois

## Plural's Key Bill Actions help isolate the most important activity in the legislative process.

Plural will now highlight Key Bill Actions in Illinois – this is a way to isolate bill activity we know is most important to determining a bill’s current status or where it’s likely headed next, and separating these moments from the noise to better gauge where your issues are. 

These Key Actions will appear on Bill Result Lists when viewing in *Table View*. 

Plural will highlight the following milestones as “Key Actions” in Illinois: 

- When the bill action **First Reading** occurs in either chamber 
- When the bill action **Second Reading** occurs in either chamber
- When the bill action **Third Reading** occurs in either chamber, including a vote count
- When a bill action **Re-Referred to Assignments** or **Re-Referred to Rules** occur in either chamber
- When bill actions related to **Veto events** occurin either chamber
- When a bill becomes a **Public Act**
