How to access your Open States account

Until all Open States functionality has been fully sunset, existing account holders can still access their OS account

In July 2023, Open States (OS) was relaunched under the Plural brand. While the complete migration of all OS functionality into Plural is still in process, individuals with an OS account will still be able to access their account with their existing credentials by going to open.pluralpolicy.com and clicking "Log In" in the top right corner of the page.

However, we highly encourage existing OS account holders who are relying on OS for bill searches and tracking to create a free Plural account to continue those activities in Plural as the OS functionality for these (non-API related) features is no longer actively supported.

Note: At this time, accessing the Plural Open API (formerly Open States API) and/or doing a bulk download of Plural's open data will still require you to have or create an account at open.pluralpolicy.com. This is a separate and distinct account from a pluralpolicy.com account.
