Bill Detail Page: The Activity tab

The Activity tab is a key space for collaborating with colleagues on a bill.

What does it do?

The ACTIVITY tab found on a Bill Detail page acts as the central source of information regarding your bill. It displays:

  • The notes and files you and others in your workspace have associated with the bill, including your highlighted sections of bill text, and the conversations had within your workspace about the bill.

  • The Bill's Action history as reported by the Legislature, including steps and procedures a proposed law undergoes as it moves through the legislative process.

  • This history includes when a committee event is announced including the specific bill, including the date and time of the meeting, location, description if available, and link back to the Legislature's page for this event.

  • This history also includes when a vote has occurred for the bill.

  • Read more about setting notifications for these updates here.

By default, the activity feed is sorted chronologically, like a timeline, but it can be sorted and filtered by type of activity and contributor, using the "FILTER" button or "Sort by" drop down menu towards the top of the activity feed.
